Annual. Native to the Mediterranean. Children love to eat
the nodding, blue and purple flowers. Gladdens the heart. Although
eating the flowers is harmless, the tea made from the leaves should not
be consumed regularly. Cultivation: Easy. Direct
seed in mid-spring. Thin seedlings to 1 foot apart. Flowers
2 to 3 feet tall. Very bushy.
