Annual.  Native to the Mediterranean.  Bears astoundingly long-lasting white umbels.  Tincture of seed is used for treatment of asthma and coronary arteriosclerosis. Cultivation: Easy, but requires a long growing season to produce seed.  Sow in spring, directly in the garden or in flats.  Plant prefers full sun, regular watering.  Space  1 foot apart. Flowers to 4 feet tall.
