Annual. Native to temperate zones in Europe, Asia and America.
Flowers pink, purple or blue. They make excellent cut flowers, but
children should be warned not to eat them. Traditionally, a bed of Larkspur
was grown in every herb garden, the seed used for treating head and body
lice. Cultivation: Extra care. Strew the seed on a garden
bed in fall or early spring and tamp in. Prefers full sun, normal
garden soil and regular watering. Flowers to 4 feet.
