HIGHLY TOXIC, POISONOUS!!
Deciduous, tropical tree native to India, Thailand and Vietnam.
The seed contains up to 1.5% of the potent and poisonous alkaloidal drug
strychnine The seed is offered only for growing and for dilute homeopathic
preparations, not for ingestion. Cultivation: Soak seed in hot (not
boiling) water for 6 hours. Then change to fresh, cool water, and allow
to soak overnight. Plant in a warm place. Allow soil surface to dry
out completely between waterings. Expect germination in 40 days. Not frost
tolerant. Grows to 40 feet.
