Phyllanthus niruri

Annual. This shrubby herb with bell-like, dangling flowers is
found across the tropics in Central America, Africa and India. The
decoction of the dried flowering herb is used as a stomach tonic, emmenagogue
and to cool fevers. The herb is employed to treat viral hepatitis
A, B and C. Cultivation: Easy. Press into soil surface and keep
moist. Slow to germ. Transplant to 1 foot apart.
Grows 2 feet tall.
