Annual.  Native to South America.  The leaf is used in Bolivia as a condiment (salsa ingredient).  Unusually fragrant. Ball-like tufts of seeds like tiny moons.  Helps control high blood pressure.  Cultivation: Easy.  May be sown in the greenhouse and transplanted or seeded directly in the garden as for Marigolds.  Average germination time 12 days.  Full sun, moderate water.  Space plants 1 foot apart.  Grows to 4 feet.
