Family: Scrophulariaceae
Perennial ground-cover.  Native to England, Scotland and Ireland, where it grows abundantly in open grassy places and in the woods.  The flowers are blue and give way to inobtrusive heart-shaped seed pods. Native uses range from acne to battle wounds.  Cultivation:  Extra care.  Light- dependent germinator.  Plants prefer full sun or shade; moist, rich soils.  Transplant or thin to 6 inches apart.  Flowers from 3 inches to 1 foot tall.
