Perennial in warm climates, annual in temperate climates. Native
to the Middle East. Rare. Delicious minty tea herb. Tiny
leaves, big aroma. Tea is used by indigenous peoples to lower high
blood pressure. Cultivation: Easy. Start early
to assure harvest before frost. Keep seed shaded, warm and moist
until germination. Plant prefers full sun and sandy soils. Space
6 inches apart. Flowers blue 1 to 2 feet tall.
